Timor High School Scholarships

The cost to keep each child who applies to attend high school through the Timor Encouragement House is $250. This will supply one child with accommodation, food, water, books, health education and uniforms.

Sponsors, unless they elect otherwise, will have quarterly communication with representatives from The Encouragement House so they will know how the child they have sponsored are progressing at school and with life at The Encouragement House.

100% of the sponsor’s gift will benefit the children. There are no management or administrative fees.

Timor Further Education Scholarships

If you wish to continue sponsoring your child – you can. By the time the first of the hostel children complete their schooling The Encouragement Foundation would have developed the Timor Further Education Scholarships. These scholarships will assist the child’s progression from childhood into a young adult through university, nursing training or other career paths. We will provide more information about this in the near future.
